Hi Everyone,
How has August been treating you? I hope you have made most of the magnificent sun as I did. Lets hope September will be as heart warming as the sun at the end of August was. We rush so much through things that we often forget to look at these things. Have you noticed anything through your window lately that stopped you in your tracks because it was just so beautiful? Yesterday I had to stop and go open my curtain because there was the most amazing golden light coming in from the sun. A gold that we can only see at the end of August and September times. If you did not see anything beautiful in the last few weeks, does that mean there is no beauty around or does it mean you have not been able to take the time to notice? The answer to this question has a direct connection with our ability to absorb happiness, I believe... Anyway, here is the reading for this month: Love: It will be a matter of balancing things between what you really want to do/what you need and keeping open with the other person. This month, especially when things get tough, we may have a tendency to over burden people around us with our needs. Ooops, seems I started September a little earlier than the rest of you... ask my husband and he will tell you all about it... But this is it though: we will need strength to keep things going on the right path. I guess, as the end of the summer approaches we will want to continue having fun and may find it difficult to say goodbye to the summer. What people don't know is that it is not because August is gone that the fun must end. However, it will be about balancing things well so the fun does not have a damaging effect on our relationships, present and to come. Be clear about what you want and focus the playful energy towards achieving those goals. By all means, some adventure/fun/excitement should be had, but remember that relationships cannot survive on that alone. Work: For a lot of people this month with work it will feel like a new start. We tend to over spend in August and therefore financially we start rebuilding ourselves. But also some of us are going back to work after the long summer, and some of us find a new focus or are actually starting a new job. But, we are entering a stronger phase even if it does not feel that way right now. And no matter the changes or even if we are still at the same old job and have done it for years, challenges may arise. The solution: you have it in you because, no matter how young, or new to the job, you may be, you have acquired great experience throughout your life. So you will be able to make use of this to move forward with any challenges coming your way. Sometimes a sense of panic can get hold of us when going through the dilemmas. When that happens: take a deep breath, remember, you can do this. And then start thinking about the practical problem. More often than not it is not the problem that is a... problem, challenge, it is the sense of panic we get when we feel we cannot sort it out. In thruth though, we can pretty much do anything. Have faith in yourself. And finally, for those of us who are at the start of something, accept that you are at the beginning of things and that it may take some time for you to be as efficient As you wish to be. Family: The terrible card is showing its ugly head. It is one of my favourite of the deck but often sends people into a panic when it shows its face. It is the strongest card to indicate change. It is time to end a journey. It could be the end of a relationship, of time together for now, or of a project done together. For some people it could simply be the end of the holiday together, but generally it fits in well with September, it is the Death card. It is the card that says that you have to leave something behind to make place for the new. Kids are going back to school, no more trips abroad or caravaning with the family. Back to the work-eat-sleep routine... Well, I am sure some of you are thinking "thank goodness", but for those of you who don't, look at this from a different angle. What can you do this year that will improve your experience of the coming months? And for those of you who feel a sense of relief, don't settle for this and instead use this new energy you are going to find to build yourself a new universe that can allow for happiness for yourself no matter the month or day. And if ever feeling stuck, look at things from a different perspective. Take a minute to look at how your routine is functioning for you? Where does your happiness fit in? Yes, you read me right. There needs to be a place for you in all this. Otherwise you will spend yet another year going through things just waiting for the summer holiday. Yes this is rather generic but I am sure if you take a second to see how it may fit to your particular situation you will see how this can help you. Have a blissful month of September. In my next email I will explain to you more in detail how this reading truely fits with my personal situation. Take great care of yourself. Stephanie x
